Oktane
Oktane is Okta’s annual user conference and its most significant brand moment, drawing over 4,000 attendees, including customers, partners, and industry leaders. As a cornerstone for community and product vision, the event requires a visual narrative that matches the scale of the company's leadership in the identity space.

The Challenge
As Oktane grew in complexity, the creative challenge was to maintain a cohesive brand experience across an expanding range of programs, venues, and physical touchpoints. We needed to deliver a premium environment that felt unified while tailoring specific experiences for different audiences, from developers to C-suite executives.
My Role & Execution
My role evolved from hands-on execution to leading high-impact programs as our internal studio scaled. I led the environmental design for the Customer Executive Conferences (CECs), Executive Summits, and customer awards. Partnering closely with the strategic events team and external agencies, I treated Oktane as a system of interconnected physical experiences. We designed creative frameworks that scaled across massive venues while maintaining the high bar for quality and brand consistency required for our most exclusive attendee tracks.
Outcome
Oktane consistently delivers a high-impact, cohesive experience that reinforces Okta’s market authority. By establishing durable systems for environmental design and experiential storytelling, we ensured that the event could scale year over year without sacrificing brand integrity. The result is a flagship moment that strengthens the Okta community and serves as a powerful catalyst for the sales pipeline.
